Apple’s updated iPad mini brings a substantial display and processor upgrade to its smallest tablet. The new model replaces the earlier 8.3-inch LCD with an 8.5-inch OLED screen, improving contrast and HDR viewing in a compact design.
The tablet uses Apple’s A20 Pro chip, giving it a significant performance improvement over the previous generation. Apple has also reduced the surrounding bezels and improved the speakers, making the device more capable for entertainment, reading, and everyday multitasking.
The main consideration is price. With the compact tablet sitting relatively close to the larger iPad Air, buyers will need to decide whether portability and the OLED display are worth choosing a smaller screen.
