The Chinese tech giant company OnePlus becomes the first company to have rolled out the final stable build of Google's latest Android 9.0 Pie version. The company stated that the update will be soon rolled out to OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 3, and OnePlus 3T. As we recall the company first rolled out the Android 9.0 Pie beta version calling it the OxygenOS Open Beta 1, and then subsequently launching the OxygenOS Open Beta 2.
Now the OxygenOS 9.0 brings some cool features like gaming mode, accent color customizations, and refreshed Do Not Disturb mode. The new gaming mode is said to enhance the performance of the device giving you a better gaming experience than usual. Also, now the user is capable of customizing the color accent of the device and many other related features.
While coming to the file size of the OxygenOS 9.0 update is about 1521MB(approximately 1.5GB), Also, note that the OTA update is a "staged rollout" meaning that it will be rolled out to a limited number of users initially, and later to all OnePlus 6 users. To check whether your device recieved the official OTA update or not, you can follow these steps
Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Check for updates
For users running the Open Beta builds, will require to move back to the official build from beta by flashing the stock rom.
