A Hong Kong based company Tecno Mobiles launched 5 new smartphones in India at an event in New Delhi. These 5 mobiles are Techno i3 , i3 Pro , i5 , i5 Pro and i7. All these smartphones are available at a different price segment. The Tecno i7 is said to be available from May, the remaining four smartphones will be available from Wednesday in Punjab, Friday in Rajasthan and saturday in Gujarat. Tecno Mobiles also claims that all these 5 smartphones are "made for india". The company also claims that there is a customization included specifically for India in the camera app, it features an optimised algorithm customized to the Indian skin tone.
The company also bragg's about its PIXELEX engine that is meant to improve the quality of night photos and videos. The new anti-oil-fingerprint sensor is also a highlight about this smartphone. The phone's also tend to support Fast Charging which the company claims as Rocket Charging which is 20 percent more quicker compared to other common fast charging techniques.The company hightlights the features of its own HiOS custom Android Rom, which is based on Android 7.0(Nougat). The phone also has split screen multi-tasking feature for the users which makes multi-tasking more convenient.
The Tecno i3 is priced at Rs. 7,990 whereas the i3 pro at Rs, 9,990.
The Tecno i5 is priced at Rs. 11,490 whereas i5 pro at Rs. 12,990.
The Tecno i7 is said to be priced at Rs. 14,990. which also comes with a quad- LED flash module on the rear camera, and a separate LED module for the front camera
These 5 smartphones will be available in the following colour variants Space Grey, Sky Black and Champagne Gold.
The company is said to launch the smartphones with a "Tecno 151 Promise' . Which means a 100-day replacement guarantee, 50 percent buyback and 1-year one-time screen replacement. This offer is available Free for a limited amount of time.

Tecno i7 is said to have a 16-megapixel front camera with an screen flash as well as Front LED flash which is also being advertised as the " night selfie camera". The rear camera sports a 13- megapixel camera with quad-LED flash. The Tecno i7 is also said to feature a smooth metallic build with a "anti-oil fingerprint scanner in the front embedded in the home button. The phone is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core processor with 4GB Ram. It consists of 32GB internal storage and expandable via micro SD card. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS display. The phone features a 4000mAh battery with Rocket Charging.
