According to a tweet from tipster Roland Quandt, the handset has a model number of XT-180x and a codename of "Sanders". Driving the phone will be the Snapdragon 625 SoC featuring an octa-core chipset and the Adreno 506 GPU. Inside will be 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB of storage. The dual-cameras on back has 13MP. This definitely looks like the Moto X (2017) will be a mid-range model.
Another motorola phone codenamed "Albus"(as in dumbledore) has surfaced on another Tweet sent by Quandt. the handset also carries the Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 2GB/64GB of internal storage. It has a similar specs to the Moto Z Play, but with a 12MP camera on back .
