Asus ROG Gaming Phone : Specifications and Launch Date


The Taiwanese company Asus brand Republic of Gamers (ROG) is set to launch its new gaming phone in India on November 29. ROG already unveiled its first gaming smartphone at Computex in June this year with a price tag of  Rs. 1,09,999 (roughly $1546.18). After the official unveiling this year, the company recently announced the arrival of its gaming smartphone in India. 

Surprisingly the Asus ROG gaming smartphone is the first to come with a 3D vapour-chamber cooling system,  and a battery backup with upto 7 hours of WiFi gameplay. The smartphone also packs some other interesting features like the AMOLED display with HDR visuals, Ultrasonic AirTrigger touch sensors, 1ms response time, a gamer-centric design with side-mounted ports optimised for landscape-mode, 90Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU, and a Snapdragon 845 SoC clocked at 2.96GHz.


Also, the ROG gaming smartphone is compatible with a detachable AeroActive Cooler for extra cooling that can be helpful for extended hours of hardcore gaming. Additionally the phone packs advanced force-feedback haptics, optional TwinView Dock for dual-screen Handheld mode, it Supports mobile desktop dock for desktop-style gaming, Supports Gamevice controller with WiGig Dock using 60Hz WiFi for big-screen gaming, Supports Asus Aura RGB lighting, Aura Sync and HyperCharge technology.

The company Asus ROG is said to reveal all pricing and availability details on the November 29 which is the official launch date in India. Asus ROG gaming smartphone's direct competitors are Xiaomi Black Shark gaming smartphone and Razer phone, however these smartphone's are not available in India.
