Smartphone giant OnePlus started rolling out its new OxygenOS 9.0.6 update for OnePlus 6T users. The update is claimed to enhance the image processing capability of the smartphone to improve its unlocking experience. This is a quick update after recently rolling out its OxygenOS 9.0.5 update that brought improvements for the in-display fingerprint sensor and some unspecified bug fixes.
This new update brings some major improvements in the performance of the smartphone by fixing some bugs. Also, it fixes the problem that occur'ed while adding an APN on Verizon network. Changes have been made in optimization standby power consumption, and also a fix for bug that restricted notifications from Google Play. The update also focuses on the image processing of the device to enhance the camera to capture better detailed and clearer shots.
Users should note that the update is an "incremental rollout" meaning that the update will only be available for few OnePlus 6T users and will later be available for everyone. Users can also check if they received the update or not by going into Settings > System updates. It is highly recommended to the users to make sure that you've backup the data before beginning the update process to avoid data loss.
